Welcome to “Gather the Pieces” a blog of reflection from everyday experiences and encounters.  Each day I gather the pieces, fragments of conversations, and other glimpses of life I witness.

Attentiveness to what was happening around me developed early in life, as well as an awareness of God’s presence.  Despite a traumatic start in life, I experienced the power and love of God as God sustained me and preserved the essence of my creation.

What I write flows from the gratitude in my heart for God’s work in my life.  The reflections often point to how I see God at work
